It does not snow in Amsterdam very often, but when it does, it is enchanting. The city turns into a Grimm fairy tale: you look up in the white sky and expect to see Frau Holle shaking a pillow, covering streets and canals with bright snow crystals.
I photograph Amsterdam often, but I feel most content doing so during snowfall – the white blanket is calming, the entire city looks so pure and innocent-, I just hope my photos reflect those feelings and make you as happy looking at them, as happy I was while taking them.
