If Kendall Jenner, Taylor Hill and sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid are all walking in one runway show you can bet it will be good.
This Fashion Week, that show was Anna Sui’s Gothic bohemian extravaganza.
The It models of the moment expertly strutted down the catwalk in Sui’s eccentric yet romantic creations, but it was their hair and make-up that stole the show for us beauty editors.
How bold can you go? Gigi Hadid, 21, looked mesmerizing in bright blue eyeshadow and burgundy lipstick as she walked the fall 2017 Anna Sui runway on Wednesday

It girls: Model friends Kendall Jenner (left), 21, and Bella Hadid (right), 20, were also given the glam look by legendary make-up artist Pat McGrath
When you’re make-up genius Pat McGrath, the traditional rules don’t apply. She opted to paint both a bold, cobalt eye and a dark burgundy lip on the models, despite conventional wisdom that usually advises picking only one feature to play up.
’It’s all about blue pigment, girls,’ Pat said backstage. ’The real strength is in the mouth and the eyes and it’s all just about the decadence of color.’
She kept the rest of the models’ faces clean to let the two colors shine.
In true Pat fashion, the famous face painter didn’t reveal which products she used backstage. She did, however, take the opportunity to tease the next launch – a new blue pigment perhaps? – in her Pat McGrath Labs line on Instagram after the show.
She’s got the backstage blues: While Kendall wears earphones, a make-up artist pats a mysterious blue pigment on her eyes before the show
Next to a video of one model fluttering her glittering blue lids, Pat wrote ’DIVINE DECADENCE backstage at @officialannasui ⚡️⚡️⚡️ Coming Soon from Pat McGrath Labs….. #StayTuned #makeupbypatmcgrath #NYFW’.
She’s pulled similar stunts during previous Fashion Weeks before launching all of her other products, including her most recent metallic pigments Metalmorphosis 005, which she also teased after the Anna Sui spring 2017 show several months ago.
Luckily, if you’re dying to try the bright blue, glittery eyeshadow look, there’s no need to wait until Pat’s official launch (though you can be sure we’ll be keeping our eyes on her Instagram feed for more clues).

Although most of our curiosity remains around the mysterious blue eyeshadow, we’d be remiss not to touch on the models’ burgundy lips.
In a time of seemingly endless matte, liquid lipstick looks, the creamy cool-tone red on the models’ mouths was a refreshing departure.
Their lips stood out, but nothing about them screamed fussy. Sign us up!

With such a bold look, you would think only certain people could pull it off.
But as the diverse array of models who walked in the show prove, the blue-eye-burgundy-lip combo looks good on the fairest of skin tones to the darkest.
The women were, however, encouraged to keep their natural hair texture. Using products from his line R Co, stylist Garren gave some models twin ’Minnie Mouse’ top-knots, while helping others define and enhance their natural curls.

Yes you CAN wear this look: The bold beauty combination was just as stunning on those with fairer skin tones as it was on those with darker ones
